Christopher Brown, President

Christopher Brown is a real estate development industry veteran with more than 15 years experience. Over his career, Mr. Brown has been involved in all aspects of real estate investing, development and homebuilding.  He has most recently been negotiating large distressed asset sales from banks and hedge funds across the US through evoCore Development, LLC.  He is also the Broker/Partner for NEXT Real Estate Group.

Over his career he has been a Sales and Marketing executive for both public and private homebuilders throughout California.  His leadership role in these companies focused on market research, product development, training and process improvement as well as sales & marketing creation and execution for developments ranging from urban infill to large master plan communities..

 He holds several industry designations such as Member, Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) through the National Association of Home Builders. Due to his experience in the industry he has been awarded the Presidents Award and Sales Manager of the Year from the North State Building Industry Association.

 In addition to his work at evoCore and NEXT, Mr. Brown is actively involved in the community. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Sales and Marketing Council of the North State Building Industry Association where he is currently the Immediate Past Chair.  Additionally, he is active with local charities such as the Active 20/30 club which raises money for local children’s charities.  Mr. Brown is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics.

Homebuyer tax credit program over - for now

Sacramento home prices rise 8.1 percent

A new report from the California Association of Realtors shows single family home prices in the Sacramento region grew by 8.1 percent in May.
